 As an expression of a unique terroir, each of Finca La Celia's wines represent a deep bond between man and earth and carefully produced to transmit this respect and charm. Elegant wines, harmonious of complex bouquets recalling fruits and spices. Finca La Celia was founded in 1890, when Eugenio Bustos acquired land in the much valued Uco Valley in the south of the City of Mendoza, Argentina-an oasis and land of exellent vineyards and natural paradise at the foot of the Andes mountains. In the year 2000 Finca La Celia was aquired by Vina San Pedro S.A, a company from Chile, a leader in the drinks bussines. The winery was then enlarged, restored and equipped with technology from France and Italy.
Today Finca La Celia is an inernational company present in more than 35 markets on the five continents with its brands: La Celia Reserve, La Consulta, Furia, Magallanes and Angaro. In June 20, 2005 La Celia Reserve Cardonnay 2004 and La Celia Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 won the "Argentina Special Rrice" and a gold medals at Vinexpo in Bordeaux, France. Each varietal develops its character in American and French AOK barrels over 12 months. These wines with structure, personality and varietal expression are the result of a commitment to quality and wine-making tradition.
